The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is gearing up to attend several events and festivals across Wales this summer providing registrants, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders with an excellent opportunity to learn more about the independent, professional regulator.
Between May and August 2024, the EWC will have a presence at the Urdd Eisteddfod, Pride Cymru, Cardiff MELA, Tafwyl, the Royal Welsh Show, and the National Eisteddfod.
Attendees will be able to chat to the team about its regulatory responsibilities, the various resources available to support registrants and the wider public, careers in education, professional development, and much more.
Chief Executive for the EWC, Hayden Llewellyn said “As a regulator, it’s important that registrants and members of the public are able to talk to us about our role and remit.
“I encourage those attending the events to pop by our stall and say hello to our team who will be on hand to talk to you about the work we do to safeguard learners and young people, whilst maintaining professionalism and enhancing standards within the education workforce."
Specific information about each event will be available on the EWC’s social media channels before and during the events.
