We’ve launched a new animation to help organisations across Wales explore the benefits of the Professional Learning Passport (PLP).
The new animation is designed to help organisations better understand how the PLP can support the professional learning of their staff and the wider education workforce.
The PLP is a bilingual online e-portfolio which has been designed to elevate staff professional development by supporting them to capture, reflect, share, and plan their professional experiences and learning. Free to applicable organisations in Wales with no contracts, it offers a flexible option amid ongoing budget pressures.
The PLP can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any organisation, with the option to design bespoke templates and reports. It also supports staff to engage with their professional standards, making it an invaluable resource for those working in education in Wales.
By showcasing its benefits in a clear and accessible way, the EWC hopes to encourage wider use of the PLP as a powerful tool for reflection, growth, and development.
Director of Professional Development, Accreditation and Policy at the EWC, Bethan Holliday-Stacey said “A world leading product, the PLP offers organisations a wealth of opportunity to help you empower your staff to take ownership of their professional learning and development.
“This animation offers a quick introduction to all the benefits the PLP has to offer. If you are interested in working with us, or would like a free demo, please do not hesitate to get in touch.”
This animation is part of a series of media created by the EWC to showcase the benefits of the PLP to both organisations and registrants, including a range of case studies videos and an e-flyer.
You can find them all now via the EWC’s YouTube channel.
