In the 2021 national education workforce survey results, workload concerns were raised as a common issue. Since then, the national workload steering group (Joint Trade Unions, ColegauCymru and Welsh Government) has been working to address those concerns.

The group now want to assess the progress made to date and have asked the EWC to undertake this survey to help measure how much has been achieved.
