Since its introduction, the Code of Professional Conduct and Practice has provided clear guidance to practitioners and the public on the standards expected from EWC registrants. As part of our legislative requirement to review the Code, we have made a few minor amendments. Head to our consultation page to read the revised draft and share your views.
FtP case studies
In our latest Fitness to Practise (FtP) case study, we take a look at an example of where a registrant was prohibited due to falsifying learners’ work. These case studies are based on real life examples and created to give you valuable learning points, to uphold and comply with the Code, and protect your registration.

It’s very important that the details we have for you on your registration record is up to date and complete. Log in to MyEWC and check that all fields are populated with the latest information.

Supporting our deaf and hard of hearing audiences
We have published two of our key corporate videos in British Sign Language (BSL) for the first time. Publishing these videos in BSL marks yet another important milestone for us as an organisation, and highlights the importance we place on fostering a culture of inclusion.
